The gloomy sky, the "naked" trees, the puddles under the feet ... Let's be honest, such an autumn picture does not improve the mood.
People on the street, mentally immersed in their affairs and problems, in a hurry, raise their veils up and do not notice anything and no one around. And maybe at this moment someone really needs help.
World Kindness Day every year
The date of this warm holiday was chosen as the opening day of the first conference of the global kindness movement in 1998 in Tokyo.
The global kindness movement was founded in Japan in 1997.
It united like-minded people of the kindness movement from different countries, as a rule, volunteers. The text of this organization's "declaration of kindness" reads:
We recognize the essential importance of simple human kindness as a prerequisite for a fulfilling and meaningful life, and with this document we declare the creation of the global kindness movement.
We will strive to unite through organizations in each country and by creating a global network, creating a kinder and more compassionate world. "
The holiday was held in Singapore on November 18, 2000 at the Third Conference of the Global Kindness Movement on the initiative of the members of this organization.
The purpose of the holiday is to remind people of the importance of true kindness - selflessness, that comes from the heart.
Of course, it is necessary to do good deeds not only on November 13! The holiday encourages people to be more attentive to the people and animals around them every day.
Help an elderly person carry heavy bags home, make a bird feeder, and wish a good day to the store employee or bus driver.
Doing good is not difficult, you just need to try to be more sensitive, do not shut yourself off from the world and not be afraid to extend a helping hand to those who need it most.
And soon you will see - life is getting better, the soul is calmer and happier.
By the way, according to studies of psychologists and doctors from different countries, people who do good work often have good immunity and well-being! Otherwise how, because true kindness works wonders!
